I have been on aproximately 30 different guided trips with various charter companies from Key West to Minnesota and all over South Dakota for that matter. Tom and Nova provide a service at the Platte Creek Lodge second to none! If you have ever been on guided trips, whether it be fishing or hunting more often than not you receive that service where you can tell the guides are in it for the money more than the love of what they do and this is so absolutely NOT the case here folks. They went so far above and beyond to make us feel like we were a member of their immediate family upon our arrival. They offer home cooked meals and their kitchen and entire property for that matter is just immaculate. The sunset over either of their firepits is just breathtaking. The equipment we used for their guided fishing trips was better than what I was used to from other charters around the country. Whether you're going with Tom, Doug, or Greg your odds of catching fish are good. These guys prefished prior to our arrival to give us the best chance of success by knowing right where to find these fish. Multiple times throughout our trip our guides would surprise me and go so far out of their way to make sure we were happy and exceeded the customer service i thought id be getting based of my experiences with the other guys in other parts of the country. The golf course that is a block away is really nice and worth bringing your clubs for also. One thing is for sure, ill be sticking with Tom and Nova in South Dakota from now on. Im not taking any chances on getting stuck with second rate charters ever again. Platte Creek Lodge is simply the best!!! Thank you Tom, Nova, Doug, Gregg, and Terry for a weekend my family will never forget.
Just returned from a trip with Fellowship Adventures at Platte Creek Lodge. Tom and Nova were exceptional hosts and would highly recommend this lodge. Nova the food was great and super clean accommodations. Tom the dogs and guiding were great.
We just returned from a weekend fishing trip that was the most enjoyable trip we have ever experienced. Everything exceeded our expectations from the accommodations, the food, the guides (Greg and Tom) you name it they hit it out of the ball park. The services and ambiance were exceptional. The hosts Tom and Nova are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and their home/lodge is 5 star on anyone's scale. I would put heir lodge and services up against any that you would read about in Gray's Sporting Journal. Platte South Dakota and the Platte Creek Lodge is truly a demonstration of GOD's work. Tom and Nova make it available to us and even after leaving and returning home, the weekend is etched in our memory for eternity. They supply everything but if you insist on bringing your own boat and gear they will accommodate you. They are there to fulfill all your requests. Their equipment is all top notch. We can't wait to return and bring our family and friends next time. This is the best kept secret so only share it with your best friends!
